It seems I'm always talking about breaking my cameras lately.

A gross act of negligence (less than two months after I recieved) it landed my coolpix with a broken LCD.. and on a camera that inexpensive with a lcd that large, it's really not even worth it to fix.  Sadness

So when replacing it, I sort of.. went for broke.  and bought a Canon Powershot A630 [link]

Yeah, it's not something super fancy, but for the money (which was more than I can afford, honestly), it's damned nice.  Much more of a camera than the last one, and the flippy-LCD that can be put away to avoid further damage to my wallet is very, very nice.  

Anyway.  Not much time or energy to play with it much yet... but hopefully I'll wander out to Balboa or the beach or just around campus one of these days. When it's warmer.
